This Award winning Sacred Pause classic "Westminster Lace" is one of my best selling photographs. Westminster Abbey is one of my favorite stops in London. There is so much history in the Abbey (over 900 years) which includes the tallest nave in England (102 feet), Coronation Chair dating to 1300, and over 3,000 people buried here. I personally enjoy the serenity of the cloisters where, for centuries, the monks worked, studied and lived. I took this picture standing in the cloisters, gazing through the intricate ironwork at the gothic abbey windows. The ironwork reminded me of lace and so I titled this image "Westminster Lace".
